Patrick Osmer

 Patrick Osmer has served as vice provost of graduate studies and dean of the Graduate School at The Ohio State University since 2006. A Distinguished Professor of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, he was chair of the astronomy department from 1993 to 2006. In 2009, Vice Provost Osmer was elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is also past chair of the Council of Graduate Schools’ Board of Directors.
