Dr. Stijn Wuyts is a postdoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für Extraterrestrische Physik (MPE) in Garching bei München, Germany. His research focuses on the evolution of stellar populations and structure of galaxies. For this, he uses multi-wavelength observations out to high redshift, as well as hydrodynamic simulations. Before moving to Munich, he was a W. M. Keck Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, MA. He received his Ph. D. on the topic of Red Galaxies at High Redshift from Leiden Observatory.
