I study the formation, evolution, and multi-wavelength properties of galaxies and quasars from cosmic dawn to present day, by combining multi-scale cosmological simulations with multi-wavelength radiative transfer, which I have developed over the past few years. The combination of these two powerful tools has numerous applications for various topics. It bridges hydrodynamic simulations and observations, and offers an unprecedented direct comparison between theoretical predictions and real observations over a wide range of properties.
